Jonesboro United Methodist Church

A devastating fire in late 2004 destroyed the sanctuary of Jonesboro Hodge Methodist Church in Louisiana, but from the ashes came a beautiful opportunity for rebirth. Pearl River Glass Studio had already begun collaborating with the church on new stained glass designs when the fire occurred. With a fresh start and creative freedom, PRGS artist Jerrod Partridge reimagined the windows to reflect the church’s desire for simplicity and strong scriptural themes. The result: six luminous stained glass windows, crafted from antique handblown German glass, depicting the stories of Adam and Eve, the Binding of Isaac, the Nativity, Jesus’ Baptism, Jesus at the Door, and Pentecost. A truly sacred transformation.⁠
