First Baptist Church Canton

Over the course of six years, Pearl River Glass Studio had the privilege of restoring the existing stained-glass windows at First Baptist Church Canton while also creating four new windows to join the collection, all designed to feel as though they had always belonged together.

The church’s original windows were already rich with beauty and history, and our team first encountered them in the late 1980s during an extensive restoration process. From sourcing and matching historic glass to replicating original painting techniques, every detail mattered. Much of the glass came from historic American manufacturers like Kokomo Opalescent Glass and Wissmach Glass Company, continuing a legacy of craftsmanship dating back to the late 1800s and early 1900s.
